About Ultimate

Ultimate (sometimes called Ultimate Frisbee) is a fast-paced non-contact team sport. It involves strategy, speed, skills and a lot of running.

The objective of the game is to catch the frisbee in the endzone of the opponent. However, the player in possession of the disk may not walk, nor is he allowed to hold the disk for longer than ten seconds. It’s his job to throw the disk to his teammates. When the frisbee drops to the ground or leaves the playing field, there is a turnover: the defending team gains possession of the disk. Now it’s their turn to try and catch the disk in the endzone of their opponent.

Ultimate frisbee is a fair game full of spirit. For this reason, there is no referee. The players solve any problems they have together. This keeps the game fun for everyone.
